Regardless of appeals from parents like Tracy Cota Teerink, the Bishop O’Gorman Catholic School’s board of directors is going ahead with the closure of Christ the King Elementary School. Cota-Teerink went to this school as a child, as did her parents, so the closure hits especially hard.

For the month of October, 25 restaurants are competing in the 5th annual Pork Showdown in downtown Sioux Falls. Two restaurants are joining the showdown for the first time this year.
