Over the First Half of 2025, 14,600 Uzbek Citizens Visited China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first six months of 2025, more than 14,000 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to China.

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 14,600 Uzbeks visited the country between January and June for both tourism and other purposes.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of visitors increased by 6,900 people, representing a growth of 88.5%.

Regarding the purposes of the trips, the majority of Uzbek citizens—11,390 people—traveled to China for tourism. Visiting relatives accounted for 2,089 travelers, official business trips for 595, educational purposes for 521, and medical reasons for 23 individuals.
