CAPS United and Hardrock FC invade foreign land for pre-season training camp

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League giants CAPS United arrived in Malawi this Saturday morning for their 2026 pre-season camp.

Makepeke-kepe will spend two weeks in Lilongwe, Malawi, where they will intensify their preparations for the upcoming season.

The Harare based team is set to play Malawi top flight league side Silver Star in a friendly match scheduled for Sunday afternoon before playing several other sides on unconfirmed dates.

Led by new coach Takesure Chiragwi, CAPS United is one of the teams to watch this season as they are among the big spenders in the ongoing transfer market.

Meanwhile, ambitious Kwekwe-based side, Hardrock FC, arrived in Botswana on Saturday afternoon for their 10-day training camp.

The Golden Boys become the second Zimbabwean team to take its pre-season preparations to Botswana, the first being Simba Bhora, who finished their camp in the same country last week.

As part of their preparations, Hardrock FC will play against the Botswana side Black Lions and others.
