Duc Phuc earned a total of 422 points from the international jury, securing the first place.
Nomad Trio from Kyrgyzstan took the second place with 373 points, while Dana Al-Mir, representing Qatar, placed third with 369 points.

In his victory speech, Duc Phuc shared, “Ten years ago, I won The Voice Vietnam, and now, ten years later, on September 20, I have become the winner of Intervision.”
Initially, strong contenders from Tajikistan and Colombia took the spotlight, but Duc Phuc’s final performance ultimately won over many judges and propelled him to the top.
Judges scored their favorite performances but were not allowed to vote for their own country’s performances.
The winner was awarded a crystal trophy and a cash prize of 30 million rubles (US$360,000).
The official ambassadors of this year’s Intervision included artists Dima Bilan, Klava Koka, Ay Yola, Pelageya, and ice hockey player Alexander Ovechkin.
Vietnam participated in Intervision 2025 following an official invitation from the Russian Embassy in Hanoi, in coordination with the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Duc Phuc was selected to represent the country with his song ‘Phu Dong Thien Vuong,’ inspired by a legendary Vietnamese folk hero.

In the final performance, Duc Phuc appeared in a vibrant costume symbolizing the mythical figure of Phu Dong Thien Vuong.
His act combined traditional Vietnamese folk music with modern instrumentation, creating a harmonious blend of heritage and innovation.
Russian media described Duc Phuc as “a charming young man” and “an emotionally rich artist,” highlighting the qualities that helped him stand out among contestants from 23 countries.
His victory not only marks a personal milestone but also represents a significant achievement for Vietnamese music on the international stage.
It opens up new opportunities to promote Vietnamese art and affirms the country’s presence in major global cultural exchanges.
According to the organizer, the event was broadcast live on Russia’s Channel One and VKontakte platform, attracting widespread media attention with some 190 journalists from 25 countries covering the event.

Before the contest began, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a statement emphasizing that “culture and music have no borders,” and expressed confidence that “the competition will become one of the most recognized and beloved global events.”
He added, “We hold our traditions dear and respect the traditions of others.”
Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said Duc Phuc’s victory is a shared pride of Vietnamese music.
It is not just the result of individual talent but also the outcome of a serious and well-prepared strategy by the ministry in selecting, training, and supporting young talents to reach the international stage.
The ministry will continue to create opportunities for more Vietnamese artists to shine on the world’s biggest platforms, the official noted.
