More than six months after launching in Vietnam, Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup has seen price cuts, with the 17 Pro becoming up to VND1.7 million (US$64.5) cheaper.

The 17 Pro 256GB version is down VND300,000 to VND34.7 million. Its 1TB variant recorded the biggest percentage drop in the lineup of 3.5%, falling by VND1.7 million to VND46.3 million.

The 17 Pro Max is now priced at VND37 million for the 256GB variant, down VND1 million, while the 512GB version has fallen by VND1.5 million to VND43 million.

Prices of the standard 17 have declined by VND400,000-800,000 depending on storage capacity.

At smaller retailers, prices can be another VND100,000 to VND300,000 lower depending on color options and storage versions.

Van Thi Ngoc Yen, deputy director of Apple products at Di Dong Viet, told Dan Tri newspaper that the 17 Pro Max accounts for around 60% of total 17 sales and is the best-selling model across the iPhone portfolio.

A similar trend has been reported by other retailers.

Nguyen Nhu Thanh, deputy director of Apple products at FPT Shop, said the Pro Max makes up more than 70% of total 17 sales. The 256GB version is the most popular, accounting for about 80% of demand, followed by the 512GB variant.

The 17 came to Vietnam in September 2025, with starting prices at VND25 million for the base model and VND32 million for the iPhone Air.

The Air has seen one price cut after another, and the 256GB version now costs VND23 million, VND9 million below its launch price.

The 512GB model has dropped by VND9.5 million to VND29 million, and the 1TB version by VND10.5 million to VND34.5 million.
