Two football officials from Vanuatu have been given the opportunity to officiate in international tournaments this week through their OFC Referee Badges.

Mr. Frank Vira, a VFF Futsal Referee, recently received his OFC Academy Badge and is making his debut at this level. He is currently in Fiji, where he will officiate at the OFC Futsal Cup, which kicks off this weekend.

Ms. Madlen Ruben, a VFF Women’s Assistant Referee, has also been awarded her OFC Badge. With experience across several regional competitions, she continues to excel in her career. She is now in Tahiti, where she will officiate at the OFC Women’s Under-19 Championship, starting next week.

The appointments of both officials mark another step forward for Vanuatu refereeing, showcasing the country’s growing presence and recognition in Oceania’s top football competitions.
