Patrick Peter Fred Appointed New Citizenship Secretary General

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has appointed Patrick Peter Fred as the new Secretary General of the Citizenship Office.

PSC Chairman Meto Nganga said the Commission has full confidence that under Fred’s leadership, the Citizenship Office will continue to provide good services and uphold the integrity of its work.

He said the position is important, especially in terms of revenue collection, and noted that there are challenges within the office. However, he believes that Fred, as an administrator, will be able to address and find solutions to these challenges.

The appointment took place this week, and Patrick Peter Fred has nearly 20 years of experience in the public service in Vanuatu.
