Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Global football icons Dida, Roberto Carlos, Fabio Cannavaro, Marco Materazzi, Maicon, Franck Ribéry, Claude Makélélé, Cristian Zaccardo, Serginho, and Kevin Kurányi are in Uzbekistan.

Today, the football legends visited the National Football Center, where they were introduced to its modern sports infrastructure.

Accompanied by Ravshan Irmatov, First Vice President of the Uzbekistan Football Association, and Bekzod Mamatkulov, President of the Futsal Federation, the guests toured the sports medicine center, rehabilitation and recovery facilities, as well as the hotel complex designed to accommodate players. The legendary athletes praised the conditions created at the center.

They also met with the Uzbekistan national team and the U-17 squad, the reigning champions of Asia. The football stars offered warm words of encouragement and wished success to the teams at the upcoming World Cup.
