Uzbekistan Air Force Aerobatic Team Paints the Sky Over Tashkent in National Colors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of independence in Tashkent, the Uzbekistan Air Force aerobatic team performed a flyover of Yangi Uzbekistan Park in six Su-25 attack aircraft, painting the sky in the colors of the national flag.

The flyover took place immediately after President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s address and the performance of the national anthem.

Organizers noted that this was the second such aerial display held in honor of Independence Day.

Last year, the aircraft flew in formation, while this year’s performance included a turning maneuver for the first time. The group also featured six aircraft — one more than in the previous year.
