President of Uzbekistan Travels to Samarkand for Talks with King of Jordan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has traveled to Samarkand, where the state visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will take place on 25–26 August.
The visit program includes high-level talks during which both sides will discuss key areas of bilateral cooperation, including political collaboration, as well as the expansion of trade, economic, and investment ties.
Several bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening the partnership between Uzbekistan and Jordan are expected to be signed.
