Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit at the invitation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

At the Turkmenbashi airport, the Uzbek leader was welcomed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On 5 August, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, as well as in a special event dedicated to preparations for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Leaders. The visit also includes a series of bilateral talks.
