Art and Culture Develipment Foundation of Uzbekistan Strengthens International Ties with Japan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 August 2025, a ceremony was held to sign a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding between Art and Culture Develipment Foundation of Uzbekistan, the city of Nara, and the Nara National Museum.
The document envisions the joint organization of a large-scale exhibition in 2027 dedicated to cultural connections along the Great Silk Road, as well as the expansion of cooperation in academic, museum, and expert areas related to cultural heritage.
The signing of the Memorandum marked an important step in the development of Uzbekistan’s cultural diplomacy, opening new opportunities to deepen engagement with Japan, strengthen academic ties, and promote the nation’s cultural heritage on the international stage.
