Andijan Airport Resumes International Flights Following Renovation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Andijan Airport has resumed international air services after extensive reconstruction.

On 12 August, the airport was officially reopened for international flights.

The inaugural flight was operated by Flyone Asia on the Andijan–Jeddah–Andijan route, which will now be served twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The first flight, Q7 2261, took place in a celebratory atmosphere, carrying 151 passengers on board.

It is also worth noting that regular domestic flights from Andijan to Tashkent continue to operate: Silk Avia flies on Mondays and Thursdays, while Uzbekistan Airways operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
