A fire broke out at a gas filling station in Samarkand region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 August, at 22:00, in the “Shaiman” mahalla of Jambay district, Samarkand region, a fire occurred involving vehicles at a compressed natural gas filling station.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, five fire-rescue crews were dispatched to the scene, arriving at 22:15. The fire was contained by 22:21 and completely extinguished by 22:30.

As a result, KIA Bongo, Damas, and Gentra vehicles were damaged. The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are being determined.

No casualties were reported. Regional and district Emergency Situations Department officials visited the site.
