2026 FIFA World Cup Draw to Take Place on December 5 in Washington
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held on December 5 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.
He made the announcement at the White House in the presence of FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The 2026 World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 across stadiums in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. For the first time, the tournament will feature 48 teams.
Notably, the Uzbekistan national football team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup finals for the first time in history.
