ALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico Tribe is preparing for the football season. They always have high expectations, and this year is no different.

After going 10-3 in 2025, even defeating powerhouse Stephen Decatur, starting the season off 5-0.

They ended up finding themselves in the state tournament, and then in the final four, before falling to Huntingtown in the state semifinals.

Class of 2007, Offensive Lineman, Josh White, talking about how the Tribe can replicate last season.

“We did very well last year, but as we all know, the game comes down to the trenches, what the oline and dline does. If the offensive line and defensive line do great, everything else falls into place.”

White has expectations, he hopes the Tribe can reach.

“This year I’d love to win a state championship. We did all this effort to get to that point, but never finished the process. This year, I’d love to finally finish the process.”

Wicomico will open the season vs. Snow Hill and then rematch Stephen Decatur the following week.
