Whiteman Air Force Base in western Missouri has increased security in response to missiles launched and drone attacks between Israel and Iran.

On Facebook, the base said it is not aware of specific threats against the installation. However, Whiteman said employees and visitors should plan for increased safety measures on the installation and/or longer wait times to access the base.

The extra security is being taken indefinitely.

The U.S. Northern Command’s directive was issued across all U.S. military installations under its command, which are bases in the continental U.S. and Alaska.
