Power forward Julius Randle’s streak of three straight games with 28 or more points was brought to a screeching halt with a six-point, five-rebound, five-assist dud.
Jaden McDaniels racked up 22 points while Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 17 off the bench in the loss.

The Thunder continued to overwhelm the Timberwolves on offense while smothering them with a league-leading defense that smothered the rest of the league all season. The unit has allowed 98.4 points per game in their 10 postseason victories.
Oklahoma City has won three straight games in the playoffs as they barrel towards their first NBA Finals berth in 14 years. All three of those victories have been by a margin of 15 points or more.
A day after being named MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered another dazzling performance, tallying 38 points and eight assists, including 13 of 15 from the free throw line.
Rising forward Jalen Williams poured in 26 points and 10 rebounds while center Chet Holmgren added 22 points and four rebounds.
