Warmer temperatures are on the way

After a chilly couple of days, the heat gets turned back on the rest of the week.

Highs will climb into the 70s for just about everybody on Wednesday. Well above average!

The wind will be back on Wednesday, as well. Especially in western Nebraska.

A Red Flag Warning is in place for much of western Nebraska. Any new fire that gets started can get out of control quickly.

It’ll be even warmer on Thursday.

Unfortunately, there is little to no rain in the forecast all the way through the weekend.

Record highs are possible in Lincoln on Friday and Saturday before cooling back down Sunday and into next week.
