4-6pm: Isolated storms look to develop from Hebron >Lincoln with a ENE motion. Storms could have 65+ mph winds, large hail & brief rotation.
7-10pm: This will likely be the DAMAGING WIND & hail threat. 65-70+ mph winds near the Omaha metro into Iowa most likely.
A few tornadoes could be possible with any discrete storms. The best timing would be 5-8pm.
Rainfall potential through Tuesday morning: Heaviest band looks to be north & east of I-80. Small shifts could change totals.
A Hot & WINDY day across Nebraska under mostly/partly cloudy skies! High temperatures ranging from 83° – 95° with dew points in the 60s/70s & breezy south winds!
SE winds will be quite windy. Gusts up to 35-45+ mph for much of eastern Nebraska.
A warm & windy Monday, leads to severe weather chances from 5-9pm across SE Nebraska. Tuesday morning rain will be ongoing with much cooler air. Flooding concerns through Wednesday across eastern & SE Nebraska as another strong cold front could bring severe storms & heavy rain across SE Nebraska. More fall like weather after Saturday.
