BERLIN, Md. – The American Legion Post #231 in Berlin is celebrating Veterans by giving food on November 9th.

The event will start at 4 p.m., and is offering turkey dinner for those who sacrificed, and give them an early Veteran’s Day.

Berlin resident, Janice Leonard, will be working the event. She says it’s a special day for the town.

“Well, at the end of the day, this is Berlin, our hometown, and it’s time for us to come together as one. And I would like to thank Mayor Zach and his family because he does an amazing job for the town and Worcester County.”

The event is open to all veterans. The Legion Post #231 is actively seeking membership.

on Friday and Saturday, the post is open to any veterans who want to connect with peers who have been in the service.
