Valley Art Center exhibit seeks to add some fun in uncertain times: Valley Views

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio—Two artists ask whether art can alleviate the stresses of political unrest and global uncertainty in their dual exhibit titled “Fun, to What End?” It opens 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 27 at Valley Art Center, 155 Bell St. From 5-6 p.m. there will be a friendly, quiet hour, which will be followed by a standard reception. The dual exhibition features artists Edward Raffel and Will Wilson, who have both received awards at the art center’s annual juried art shows. The exhibit seeks to celebrate experimentation, imagination and distinct artistic voices in different dimensions and media. It will be on view through May 6 with an artist talk 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30.
