SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz dropped its seventh straight game, falling to the Denver Nuggets 130-117.
Brice Sensabaugh led the shorthanded Jazz with 28 points, while Kyle Filipowski eclipsed the 20-point mark for the fourth straight game, scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists.
“Kyle has been very coachable, and in no way is that the coaching staff taking credit for his success, but he has taken feedback, he’s dug in and done the work in the areas where he needs to improve,” Jazz coach Will Hardy said. “He’s in a good place right now in terms of recognizing when to be aggressive.”
Jamal Murray scored 37 points to lead all scorers, while Nikola Jokic added a 15-point, 17-rebound, 12-assist triple-double.

Hardy is excited for Utah Jazz ‘Ride or Die’ fans
While many fans watching on TV have (understandably) rooted for the Jazz to lose as many games as possible this season in order to improve the team’s draft odds, you’d never know it when taking in a home game at the Delta Center.
Through four seasons of a difficult rebuild, fans inside the arena have remained loyal, even as the team posted the worst two-year home record in franchise history.
After the loss to the Nuggets, the Jazz will finish with no more than 24 combined home wins over the past two seasons in Salt Lake City. The team will also record back-to-back sub-.500 home seasons for the first time since 1979-80 and 1980-81, the franchise’s first two years after relocating to Utah.

To put their struggles in perspective, the Jazz have won at least 24 home games in 35 of their 51 seasons.
With the rebuild expected to conclude when the Jazz finish the 2025-26 season, Hardy said he appreciates the fans who have stayed committed throughout the past four years.
“When we talk about the rebuild, there are people who will say, ‘Oh, this person deserves it, or the players deserve it, or you deserve it,’ but the fans deserve it, too,” Hardy said. “They have been in this with us every day.”
Despite the recent downturn at home, fans have continued to support the team. The Jazz’s sellout streak, which began before the rebuild, now spans more than 300 games.

With a return to prominence potentially approaching, Hardy hopes fans will savor the success ahead.
“They’re going to know that they were with us, ride or die, no matter what was going on, no matter what the final score was,” Hardy said. “And as we continue to build this thing going forward, I expect the building to still be packed.”
The Jazz will play their final home game on Friday, April 10, against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Bez MBeng plans to sign for the remainder of the season
With Bez MBeng’s second 10-day contract coming to an end on Thursday, the Jazz needed to either allow the rookie guard to become a free agent or sign with the team for the remainder of the season.
KSL Sports learned the Jazz plan to sign MBeng for the remainder of the year, clearing the path for him to stick with the team for the remainder of the season, and allowing him to join the roster during summer league.
It sounds like Bez MBeng will sign with the @utahjazz for the remainder of the season after his second 10-day contract expires tomorrow.
That clears a path for him to join the team in the summer league.
