INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — President Donald Trump’s “border czar” Tom Homan, a former acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement director, will visit Indianapolis on Tuesday.
Slayde Settle, director of media for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, shared the information in an email to News 8.
Republican Todd Rokita and state Rep. J.D. Prescott, R-Winchester, will host what’s being called “Fairness for Hoosiers: The Need for State Action on Immigration.” The speech from Homan will be part of a luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the South Atrium of the Statehouse in downtown Indianapolis.
The goal for the event will be to defend communities, enforce the law, and put Indiana first.
