LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department is investigating a string of scooter thefts on campus in downtown Lincoln.

According to police, the thefts occured on Oct. 1 at 9:22 a.m., Oct. 6 at 5:58 p.m., Monday at 7:48 p.m. and Wednesday between 6:30 and 9:20 p.m.

Police said the thefts have happened at several places around UNL city campus.

The two suspects are described as:

  • White female aged 18-21 with short dark hair and glasses
  • White female aged 18-21 with brown hair that appears lighter at the ends.

According to police, stealing a scooter falls under the category of motor vehicle theft defined by the Clery Act.
