Trump celebrates Valentine’s Day with cards featuring Maduro, Greenland

President Trump on Saturday celebrated Valentine’s Day by sharing a series of cards that praised his accomplishments while predictably slamming Democrats and even poking fun at his own secretary of state.

The cards, posted by the White House on social media, kick off with a picture of a handcuffed and blindfolded Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro following his capture from his country in January.

It’s made to look a classic Valentine’s Day card, with the phrase: “You captured my heart.”

Next, there’s a photo of Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) meeting with former ICE detainee Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. The caption reads: “My love for you is as strong as Democrats’ love for illegal aliens. I’d fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you!”

Trump also shouted out Greenland on another Valentine’s Day card.

“It’s time we define our situationship,” it says, alongside an image of the semi-autonomous Danish territory framed in a heart.

The president spent recent months becoming increasingly fixated on the idea of the United States taking control of Greenland.

In another card, Trump seemingly mocked Marco Rubio, using a photo of the secretary of state looking uncomfortable during a heated meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Earlier this year, the image spawned countless internet memes playing off a long-running joke about the number of jobs Rubio has had to hold at one time in the Trump administration. In addition to being secretary of state, he’s the acting national security adviser and formerly led the U.S. Agency for International Development and the National Archives and Records Administration.

“Don’t make me work for your love,” reads the card.

Others in the Trump administration shared their own Valentine’s Day messages too, including Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

A series of cards features one that reads, “You removed the warning label from my heart,” in reference to Kennedy’s announcement that the FDA would remove long-standing warning labels from hormone-based drugs.
