It looks like Garth Brooks and the “Tiger King” Joe Maldonado have something in common.

Brooks is reportedly looking to sell his music catalog and is eyeing a whopping $2 billion to make the deal. Maldonado is also looking to sell his catalog.

The bad news for fans is they almost certainly have no chance of coming up with the equity to secure Brooks’ work. The good news is that Maldonado’s work is far, far more affordable.

The “Tiger King” made that clear Saturday in a post shared on his Facebook page.

“BUY A PIECE OF HISTORY,” Maldonado wrote on Facebook. “My very last asset I own, I must sell my music to pay my attorney bill to push my pardon. Individually priced, 50K or best offer for all. Still pays royalties, last 5 years has (paid) 36K.”

Maldonado listed 18 songs, most with video rights, too.

There was a bummer on the list. He said he only owns 50% of “I saw a Tiger,” which was featured on the popular Netflix series.

He wants $15,000 for that one.

He claims to own 100% of another song featured on the series, “Because you love me,” and wants just $8,000 for that.

Maldonado is currently serving a 21-year federal prison sentence after he was convicted in 2019 on two counts of murder-for-hire after police said he tried to have his rival, Carole Baskin, killed. He was also charged with nine counts of violating the Endangered Species Act for killing five tigers, and eight counts of violating the Lacey Act for falsifying wildlife records and illegal sales of tigers across state lines.
