The Verdict Is In: Stage 13 Brings ‘Legally Blonde Jr.’ to Wildwood

Audiences will soon have a chance to see the next generation of Arkansas performers take the stage when Stage 13 presents Legally Blonde Jr. at Wildwood Park for the Arts in Little Rock.

Tickets are on sale now for the performances, which will be held on June 18 and June 19. Prices range from $15 to $25.

The production is the culmination of Stage 13’s intensive three-week summer musical theatre camp for students in grades 4-9. Nearly 100 campers are spending their summer developing skills in singing, acting and dancing while preparing for a fully staged performance of the popular musical.

Under the direction of instructors Kiona Reese, Tanner Oglesby and Molly Giles, participants are working daily on scenes, choreography and musical numbers while gaining experience in stage performance, vocal technique and ensemble collaboration.

Known for its upbeat songs, memorable characters and themes of confidence and perseverance, Legally Blonde Jr. follows Elle Woods as she defies expectations and discovers her own strengths along the way.

The June performances will give audiences an opportunity to see months of hard work come together on stage while supporting young performers from across Arkansas.

Tickets are available now through Stage 13’s website. With nearly 100 students participating in the show, organizers encourage families and theater fans to purchase seats early.
