For two guys who make a lot of sad songs, Post Malone and Jelly Roll certainly have a lot of joy to share – with their audiences, and with each other.

The two are currently on the road with the Post Malone Presents: The Big Ass Stadium Tour. They performed together at the Hersheypark Stadium, to the delight of a slightly rain-soaked crowd.

And both men were clearly just as big of fans of each other as the audience was.

Jelly Roll opened for Post Malone – something he said he’d be glad to do forever if he could.

“I would open for Post Malone the rest of my [expletive] life, if he let me,” Jelly Roll said. “I love you, Posty!”

Jelly Roll also noted that “everything you hear about Post Malone is true.”

“Everything you hear about him online, how great he is, is true,” he said. “Imagine what you don’t hear about him, how awesome of a human he is.”

Jelly Roll said that while he loves every part of being on tour with his pal Posty, “my favorite part is the hang.”

“We got the same taste in music,” he said, noting that his playlist will go from Nirvana to Snoop Dogg, and from Bob Seger to Sabrina Carpenter, “boom, that fast.”

“I go from ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’ to ‘Espresso,’ you won’t even see it coming,” he said.

Jelly Roll also mentioned listening to music with his daughter noting she’d just celebrated her 17th birthday and he was a “proud girl dad.”

“We broke generational curses because y’all listened to my music,” he said, noting how his success with music had helped him become a better parent.

Being a proud girl dad is something he and Post Malone also have in common.

Post Malone mentioned his daughter, giving an emotional dedication to his three-year-old before playing his song “Yours.”

He noted that the idea of her being grown up and married one day was a long way off, but still one that rankled him.

Malone noted that Jelly Roll was “one of the best men I’ve ever met in my [expletive] life.”

“And one of the most caring and loving men,” he added. “And honestly, the best [expletive] hugger in the [expletive] [expletive] universe.”

Fittingly, Jelly Roll and Post Malone shared the stage for a performance together.

Jelly Roll came back out during Malone’s set so they could both sing their collaboration “Losers.”

Afterwards, Jelly Roll said “[Post Malone] is on his first stadium tour, and nobody [expletive] deserves it more!”

“He is so kind to come out and [expletive] sing that song with me,” Malone said as Jelly Roll made his exit.

“Every night he’s got to run back offstage. He is so kind to sing that song with me,” he added. “And every time he leaves, it’s true what they say: I hate to see him go, but I do love to watch him leave.”

It’s always an infectious feeling when you see artists genuinely enjoying each other’s work and company. And the positive, wholesome friendship between the two only contributed to the evening’s festive atmosphere, despite the rain.
