Teenager motorist who rear-ended Rudy Giuliani identified

A 19-year-old New Hampshire woman has been identified as the motorist who rammed into Rudy Giuliani‘s car, causing the 81-year-old former mayor multiple injuries.

New Hampshire State Police determined that a Honda HR-V driven by Concord teenager Lauren Kemp struck the back of a Ford Bronco in which Giuliani was a passenger Saturday night.

“As a result of the collision, both vehicles went into the median and were heavily damaged,” police said.

Kemp, Giuliani and a man driving the former mayor were reportedly treated for non-life threatening injuries at a Manchester, N.H. hospital around 10 p.m.

Giuliani’s head of security Michael Ragusa said on social media Sunday that the former mayor suffered a fractured thoracic vertebra, as well as cuts, bruises and injuries to his left arm and lower leg.

Though Kemp was allegedly moving at “high speed” when she hit Giuliani’s vehicle from behind, Ragusa stressed that the collision didn’t appear to be intentional.

“This was not a targeted attack,” Ragusa posted. “We ask everyone to respect Mayor Giuliani’s privacy and recovery, and refrain from spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.”

According to the security chief, his boss was riding in a rental car. No one would’ve known he was a passenger, Ragusa stated.

The former mayor, who was disbarred and stripped of his New York law license in July 2024 because of his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, was said to be in good spirits despite his injuries. He expected to be “getting back to business in just a few days,” Ragusa assured sketics on X.
