‘Swazey Farms’ harvests honey and rescues bees in South Jersey

LOWER ALLOWAYS CREEK, New Jersey — The dynamic duo behind Swazey Farms is dedicated to the preservation of honey bees and the education of beekeepers.

Army veteran Randy Pearce and fellow beekeeper, Josue Feliciano, first became friends over their shared love of agriculture.

In 2022, they opened their small business, ‘Swazey Farms,’ and have since moved onto the perfect property in Salem County.

They specialize in promoting beekeeping education while also rescuing bees from homes, chimneys, trees and more.

They also harvest honey and sell it at their on-site shop and online. They report to have processed 3,000 pounds of it in 2025.

While the duo travels around with a mobile education presentation, they are also hoping to have more community members visit their farm to see their hard work in action.

They also boast a honey-tasting room where guests can try out a flight of various honey flavors.
