PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A burglary suspect was believed to be barricaded inside a Pacoima home after breaking into another home in the neighborhood Thursday morning.

Officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress on Pinney Street just after 2:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspect allegedly broke into one home in the area and then fled into another nearby home, where there were people inside. The residents managed to get away unharmed, and the suspect stood inside.

That prompted a large response from police who surrounded the home. AIR7 was over the scene where there were several patrol vehicles around the property.
