PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police said a suspect was arrested after a stabbing on Elmwood Avenue Sunday night.

According to police, a victim was stabbed at the Stratford House Apartments and taken to the hospital.

ABC6 News crews on scene reported seeing the parking lot of the apartment complex blocked off by police tape around 8:10 p.m.

Police said a suspect was taken into custody.
