Storm chances and a warm weekend

Storms are possible on and off this weekend, but they’ll be spotty so not everyone will see rain. Temperatures will be up and down, too.

There is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe weather for most of Nebraska Saturday. There are a couple of different waves to watch for.

The first wave moves through during the morning hours. Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storm chances.

Wave two moves across the state from west to east in the afternoon and evening. Strong storms are possible, but the severe weather threat is small.

After the storm chance on Saturday, we get another chance for storms on Sunday, especially further north and east. There is a level 1 Marginal Risk for severe storms in this area.

Highs on Saturday will be cooler to the east, warmer to the west.

We all warm back up on Sunday!
