ST ALBANS, WV (WOWK)– With warmer weather comes new paving projects, and Tuesday the City of St. Albans began one of their own.

City officials say this will be a 20-street, $300,000 paving project.

St. Albans is putting out notices requesting that residents on the streets slated for paving move their cars off the road on the morning of the scheduled work.

  • 2300 block of Jefferson Ave
  • Poplar Dr
  • South Walnut
  • 800 Hudson St
• Wednesday, May 21, 2025
  • South Washington
  • Park Rd
  • Lincoln Ave
  • 800-900 of Park St
  • Lee St
  • Weimer Ave
• Thursday, May 22, 2025
  • B Street
  • Playland Dr
  • Intersection of Parkview and Mt. View

The approval for this project was passed Monday night by the city council, and will last until the end of the week.
