INDIANAPOLIS (WISH-TV) – Get ready for a warm up for the next couple of days! We are going to see temperatures continue to climb through the weekend and we may get awfully close to 80 degrees.
TODAY: A little bit of cloud cover to start off the day but we will look for sunny skies later this afternoon. High temperatures will be climbing into the lower sixties which is about 10 degrees or so above normal for this time of the year. Winds will not be bad, pretty light out of the south through much of the day.
TONIGHT: Later this evening we will look for clouds to increase during the overnight hours. No rain chances expected overnight with lows near 46.
TOMORROW: Spring officially begins around 10:46 in the morning. It is going to be warm and breezy for the first day of spring. Winds may gust at times near 20 mph for the afternoon out of the south. High temperatures will climb close to 73 degrees for the afternoon.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: This weekend looks fantastic. High temperatures on Saturday will climb to 72 degrees under mostly sunny conditions. On Sunday a little bit more cloud cover and even if you rain chances as well. The best rain chance will arrive later in the afternoon and evening. It will be really breezy with temperatures getting close to 80 degrees. The record on Sunday is 82, set back in 1907.
We will see temperatures drop heading into early next week. However it doesn’t look like it will be a big cold blast of air. High temperatures on Monday only climb to 48. And then near normal temperatures for your Tuesday. Some rain chances return on Wednesday with highs near 60.
