Serving up a fresh take on traditional Cajun, Creole, zydeco, swamp pop and New Orleans R&B, the group T Marie & Bayou Juju consistently wows audiences. On Friday, July 3, this band from the southern reaches of Louisiana arrives in Maine to perform high energy regional music at the historic Opera House in Boothbay Harbor.
T Marie & Bayou Juju have been included in the list of the Grammy’s best regional roots music
album, nominated for OffBeat Magazine’s best Cajun album and consistently rank high on Band Camps’ Cajun/zydeco charts. T Marie is a member of the Recording Academy and an ambassador for Cajun music and culture. Her stories told from the stage mixed with the authentic music of the region, may find audiences thinking they’ve landed squarely in the bayou versus in Boothbay Harbor this July.
The band has shared the stage with Genticorum, Jeffrey Broussard & the Creole Cowboys, the Lost Bayou Ramblers and dozens of others at festivals throughout Louisiana, including the famed French Quarter Fest. They have toured nationally from California to Maine.

Regular tickets are $30, on the day of the concert and online at boothbayoperahouse.com. Doors for seating open at 7 p.m. and the music kicks on at 7:30 p.m. This concert is appropriate for all ages. The bar will have cold drinks for sale, cash only.
