Snohomish County event to recognize recently reunified families





The special court session and picnic will be held June 27 as part of Family Reunification Month.


EVERETT — Snohomish County will celebrate Dependency Reunification Day with a special court session and picnic on June 27.

This annual event honors families who have successfully reunited after overcoming challenges, a press release said.

Beginning at 9 a.m. June 27, recently reunified families will be recognized at the Denney Juvenile Justice Center. Following the court session, the 15th Snohomish County Reunification Picnic, sponsored by the YWCA, Homeward House and Parent for Parent program, will be held 1-4 p.m. June 27 at American Legion Park, 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett.
