KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — Family and Cosmetic Dentistry of Kokomo will host its 13th annual “Smiles for Vets” free dental care day Friday, Sept. 11. The event provides free dental treatments to Indiana veterans to honor their service.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the practice’s office at 5111 Clinton Drive. Veterans get free limited dental exams, health screenings, cleanings, fillings and extractions on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees must bring a photo ID or a military ID card to check in.
“Smiles for Vets is our favorite day of the year because it gives our team and local volunteers a meaningful way to honor the individuals who have sacrificed so much for our country,” Melissa Jarrell, a dentist at the practice said.
The event also includes free food, drinks, games and gifts.
Veterans can find more information on the Smiles for Vets event page or by calling 765-453-4369.
