A small plane crashed into a San Diego neighborhood early Thursday morning on May 22, 2025, around 3:45 a.m. The Cessna 550 came down in the Murphy Canyon neighborhood where many military families live, plowing through cars and setting 15 homes on fire. Officials haven’t announced any injuries or how many people were on the plane at the time of the crash.
