A pair of Nike’s barrier-breaking basketball shoes are set to break free from the vault again, and fans will have a short window to grab them.
Nike’s Shox BB4 Black and Metallic Silver will go live on Friday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m. ET for $199 a pair.
These shoes debuted on Half-Man, Half-Amazing Vince Carter during the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. At the time, they were the first of their kind to feature visible Shox columns.
This retro style will make its way to a new era with a futuristic colorway makeover on Friday. Apart from its Olympic debut, the Shox BB4 was released only a few times in 2019 and earlier this year. Nike’s limited-edition shoes always sell out fast, especially when they are tied to an iconic athlete.
