CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming writers have until March 31 to apply for scholarships to attend the WyoPoets 2026 Spring Poetry Workshop in Casper.
The workshop takes place April 25 at the Holiday Inn Casper East. Presenters Veronica Golos and David Pérez will lead the session from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Golos and Pérez are authors and teachers from Taos, New Mexico.
A free public poetry reading will precede the workshop on April 24. The reading runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Natrona County Library, 307 E. 2nd St.
WyoPoets is a statewide nonprofit organization that supports poets of all levels. The Wyoming Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Wyoming Legislature provided grant funding for the event.
