San Diego Mosque Shooting Victims Remembered as Heroes

The imam of the Islamic Center of San Diego and the city’s police chief said that the victims sacrificed their lives and prevented more people from being killed.

“They sacrificed their lives to protect the entire community inside the Islamic Center of San Diego.” “You can see the security guard reach for his radio and put out the lockdown protocol. His actions, without a doubt delayed, distracted and ultimately deterred these two individuals from gaining access to the greater — areas of the mosque, where as many as 140 kids were within 15 feet of these suspects.”

The imam of the Islamic Center of San Diego and the city’s police chief said that the victims sacrificed their lives and prevented more people from being killed.
