Royals call up power hitting prospect, will debut it St. Louis. “I need to call my dad.” (VIDEO)

The I-70 Series, Part 2, starts at Busch Stadium Tuesday night. The Cardinals are hosting the Royals for another three-game series. Andre Pallante and Michael Lorenzen will be the starting pitchers for the opener, but all eyes will be on Royals phenom prospect Jac Caglianone. The 6th overall pick in the 2024 Draft has hit 15 homers in just 50 minor league games at the AA and AAA level this season.

The Royals posted a video of Jac being told by his AAA manager, Mike Jirschele. After the moment sinks in, Jac comes to the quick realization he needs to make a call…to his dad.
