Manuel Gallegos is being sought as a person of interest to help further the investigation, according to police.
ROSWELL, N.M. — Police are looking for a person of interest in a shooting that left two people dead early Tuesday in Roswell.
At around 3 a.m., officers responded to a house in the 1600 block of Juniper Street to check on a woman. Her friend reported hearing multiple gunshots at the house while talking with her on the phone and then no response after that.
Officers found that woman dead, identifying her as 38-year-old Stacia Pearce. They also found 39-year-old Tony Ontiveros dead inside the home. They each had gunshot wounds. Police also recovered Pearce’s vehicle, which had been stolen.
Now, police want to talk to 43-year-old Manuel Gallegos. They identified him as a person of interest who could further the investigation. If you have any information that can help, call Roswell Police Department at 575-624-6770.
