CHICAGO – Friday, Jamestown Jimmies Men’s Volleyball played Roosevelt relatively tightly while falling in four sets.  On Saturday, Roosevelt won a little more decidedly.

Roosevelt swept UJ on Saturday at the Goodman Center, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Roosevelt (16-8, 8-4 GLVC) had 39 kills to 21 for Jamestown (6-23, 0-12).  While the Lakers hit .235, the Jimmies hit just .087.

Mark Zmojdzin had 16 kills, an ace and four total blocks for Roosevelt.  Kajetan Bieniek had 12 kills and an ace.

Chase Hawkinson had six kills for the Jimmies.  Joshua Crowley had four.

Two regular season GLVC matches remain for Jamestown.  The next will be Friday against Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
