The Rockford Rams (4-3, 3-2 OK Red) travel to Eagle Stadium on Friday to face the Hudsonville Eagles (5-2, 4-1) in a conference marquee matchup in West Michigan. Hudsonville swept the series in 2025, winning 35-28 in the regular season before eliminating Rockford 42-31 in an MHSAA district final in November.

Both teams enter riding dominant shutout victories. Head coach Brent Cummings and Rockford have won three of their last four games, including last week’s 49-0 blanking of Grandville. Junior quarterback Casen Whitford leads the Rams’ offense with help from senior receivers Jack Henkel, Owen Holt and Drew Ferwerda.
Head coach Brent Sandee’s Eagles demolished Jenison 63-0 last week using a three-quarterback rotation of juniors Trey Snip and Donovan Terres alongside senior Tyler Floriana. Snip has developed strong chemistry with receiver Wyatt VanAssen through seven games.
Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on Friday, October 16 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
