Rockfield’s Potter wins age division in BGT combo event

Rockfield Elementary School student Knox Potter took first-place honors in the boys’ 10 and under (9-hole) division in the Bluegrass Golf Tour’s Combo No. 1 held Saturday at Danville Country Club and Sunday at Tates Creek Golf Course in Lexington.
Potter finished the two-round event with a 12-under par 85 for a one-stroke victory.
Greenwood’s Brock McIvor finished fourth in the boys’ 14 and under division with a 46-over 190.
Rich Pond Elementary’s Ally Jean Stephens was fourth in the girls 12 and under (9-hole) division with a 27-over 100.
Barren County’s Kailynn Peterson finished fifth in the girls’ 15 and under division with a 232.
