HARTFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – We have some traffic alerts as construction season kicks into high gear.

Route 4 eastbound is closed from the I-89 southbound off ramp to the northbound off ramp. That northbound ramp is closed to all traffic, and Westbound traffic on Route 4 is open.

The closure runs until 7 on Wednesday night so VTrans can repair the pavement in that area.

About an hour west, drivers on Route 7 should expect delays. Starting Wednesday at 7 a.m., Oxbow Road in Pittsford closes to through traffic.

Drivers on Route 7 may see traffic control so trucks can get in and out of the work area. The road is closed so crews can prepare for traffic to switch to a new bridge.

Those interruptions run until June 9, with Route 3 shut down entirely at the intersection with Route 7 on June 8.
