NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE)– Danish artist Thomas Dambo visited Rhode Island on Sunday to officially cut the ribbon on three of his wooden troll sculptures.

Dambo is known for his sculptures, which are all made out of recycled materials.

The statues were installed in East Providence, at Ryan Park in North Kingstown and at Arcadia State Park in Exeter.

In 2024, Dambo installed his first two trolls in the state, situated along the Ninigret Bike Path in Charlestown.

The artist officially keeps track of the trolls he’s created on his online “Troll Map,” which spans multiple continents.
